The Diocese firmly believes that children are the future of a family, church, community, nation and the whole of humankind. They are our most precious responsibility and gift from God. Hence the Church, presbyters, and congregation have an inherent responsibility to ensuring the holistic development of the children. With weekly Sunday School activities, Vacation Bible School and others have helped our children to understand and love Jesus better.

Sunday School is a viable tool for the church’s growth in the contemporary situation. It is a fact that Sunday School ministry is the foundation for innovation. It is regarded as the winning arm of the church. Sunday School equips the children to build supportive relationships, the very crux for Christian service. Jesus loved the children and it is important that children are welcomed in the ministerial life of a church.
