OBJECTIVES

The main objective of Diocese of Durgapur is: 1) To serve the less fortunate and the marginalized irrespective of caste, colour and creed 2) To raise awareness and prevent human trafficking in the border region of India-Bangladesh. 3) To provide health care and education to the people suffering from pollution and poverty.

STRATEGY

The Diocese of Durgapur, a church-based organization, integrates faith-based principles into community development, focusing on compassionate outreach and service. It uses the church's moral and spiritual influence to foster positive change. Influence decisions affecting the creation of God.

VISION

Our vision has a rich and dynamic heritage along with magnanimous memories. Burdwan, Bankura, Purulia, Midnapore, Malda, Uttar Dinajpur, and Dakshin Dinajpur, districts and consists of 31 pastorates, 209 churches, and a total membership of about 29,948. Also initiated several projects like Anti-Human Trafficking and the Good Shepherd Eye Clinic and Hospital.
