The Order of St. Luke the Physician is a Christian organization devoted to the healing ministry of Jesus Christ to those in need of physical, emotional, and/or spiritual healing. For 7 decades, the order has healed and their ministry spread across borders.

The OSL India chapter began in 2012 with the Diocese of Durgapur, CNI. It has had 8 Chapters and has over 300 members. They have brought Jesus’ healing ministry into churches, hospitals, medical and eye clinics, and into the homes of the afflicted within the diocese. Conferences, bible studies,healing workshops, and convener meeting are some regularly organized events. OSL also publishes a monthly newsletter which in english and bengali, a favoured vernacular. It has also translated different tracts and booklets into hindi and bengali such as – Soaking Prayer, The Essence of Prayer, Why Some People are not Healed and many others. They also publish different bookmarks with relevant passages and pictures from the Bible to spread awareness amongst the masses about the OSL healing ministry.
